*.Base 128 : row 20, column 0 ->  기본값 0b0010 = 0x02

- 0b0000 : L2 cache enable

- 0b1000 : L2 cache disable

- 0b0010 : trackpoint enable

- 0b0001 : trackpoint disable 

 

 

### IBM Thinkpad 127 error 고치기 ###

 

- CPU를 업그레이드 했을 경우 L2캐시 문제로 알려짐(L2 캐시 disable).

When you boot, you get bios post error 127. Then you shoud do the following:
Choose "test", 
choose "exit", 
choose "config", 
hit "ctrl-d", opens bios hex-editor. 
Take cursor to (row 20, column 0), key "02" -> "0A", 
hit "F2", 
hit "esc", 
choose "exit", 
choose "ok", and reboot.
Next boot should go without error-127

The value at row 20 and column 0 on my ThinkPad 770Z and on Sharedoc's 600E was originally 02(0x02). Here is a diagram indicating where this value should be located:

- track point error -> disable track point

- F1 > bios > config > Ctrl-D

- 0 column & 20 row > 02를 01로 변경 (0A의 경우 09로 변경 ; L2 cache disable & track point disable)
